While touring in Bulgaria in the summer of 2013 I was lucky to cross paths with this incredible singer and artist. Desy's got a hip style and a killer voice. We met while sharing the same stage on the Black Sea on the coast of Bulgaria and stayed in touch. So she sent me this song in June of 2014, I laid vocals on it in the Green Lion studio in York, Maine with Zeke Stern and sent the audio back to Desy. Auspiciously, I ended up back in Bulgaria a couple months later while on tour with Iyeoka and met up with Desy and her crew to shoot my part of this video. I hope you enjoy it! That trombone solo is sick, ya?1
Our first stop on tour without Iyeoka was Tunisia. This was such an incredible experience. It was a sold out performance to an audience of 1,200. The people were so kind and we had a nice jam session afterwards with the local band playing in the hotel lobby bar. I caught a sunrise, visited Sidi Bou Said & saw the Roman ruins. Next stop Zurich!

Meditating on gratitude today for the life I live and the abundance all around.
The comfort of cooperation.
The ability to become expansive in the present moment.
And the ease with which the things I am thankful for present themselves.
To be whole and grateful for the presence of those around me.
I just whipped up and ordered some new bcap stickers to bring with me when I head back out on tour with Iyeoka in April.
I'm so grateful to have this opportunity to spread my word, brand and message throughout Europe.
Tunisia, Switzerland, Turkey, Germany, Romania & Luxembourg here we come!
Big thanks to Caffe Kilim for letting me camp out and work today.
Last night I sat in on a Macrotones rehearsal for the third time and something really incredible unfolded!
This band is an absolute powerhouse.
I'd say we definitely elevated one of their older tunes. They played through it about 4 times and just let me stretch out with vocals over it.
I don't even know how to explain this jam and where it ended up so you're just going to have to come out the show. But here's a little lyrical excerpt :
"Walking over clouds together, skipping stars and catching satellites."

It's easy to see that there is a trend toward a future that pays close attention to privacy and encryption. With all the NSA talk of dragnet surveillance, it seems impossible to even imagine that anything done in the digital age can be anonymous. But there's a movement toward making this all more of a reality and decentralizing communications might be the best way to get there. Think: Messaging apps that don't use a single server within a company to run and process data, but rather a million of all the consumers computers crunching small packets of the data working as one. This is how Bitcoin works. And this is why Bitcoin is important.

The guys from Fort Knox Five have just shared this incredible video on FB and my mind is blown. The light and sound installation is called "dromos" and is performed live by two artists maotik and fraction. It's an intensely immersive 360° experience that you really have to see to fully grasp. Watch the video below and check out more photos and videos here: http://www.designboom.com/art/dromos-audiovisual-installation-optically-alters-time-and-space-12-04-2013/
