Decentralized Network Applications based on Bitcoin technology
It's easy to see that there is a trend toward a future that pays close attention to privacy and encryption. With all the NSA talk of dragnet surveillance, it seems impossible to even imagine that anything done in the digital age can be anonymous. But there's a movement toward making this all more of a reality and decentralizing communications might be the best way to get there. Think: Messaging apps that don't use a single server within a company to run and process data, but rather a million of all the consumers computers crunching small packets of the data working as one. This is how Bitcoin works. And this is why Bitcoin is important.
